O’Malley Signs “Connor’s Law”

Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley last week signed "Connor's Law." It's a bill that requires all public swimming pools be equipped with an automated external defibrillator, or AED. It is named for 5-year-old Connor Freed. In 2006, Freed drowned underneath an empty lifeguard chair at a Crofton pool. Connor's mother Debbie Neagle-Freed attended the bill signing ceremony. She said that her son would be proud of what she has done in helping to get the bill passed…
