Governor Martin O'Malley plans for more than 130 regulatory policies to be repealed or modified. According to WBAL News, O'Malley asked state agencies to review regulations that could grow the economy and streamline businesses. Submitted to the Administration, Executive and Legislative Review Committee, O'Malley also wants outdated language eliminated and a regulation that requires drivers who transport hazardous substances to get a special Maryland certification.
