One person is dead as the result of a saturday morning fire on Bolton Street in Romney. Dustin Amtower, the chief of the New Creek Volunteer Fire Department, noticed the blaze while he was on his way to his job as a paid fireman in Winchester. He called in the alarm, and was able to evacuate a downstairs apartment. He was unable to get to the second floor apartment, where the vicitim was found…
