Only A Third Of Marylanders Have Favorable Opinion Of President-Elect Donald Trump

A  Gonzales Research poll released this month shows that even before he officially takes office-   only about a third of Marylanders have a favorable opinion of president-elect Donald Trump. The poll was conducted by Gonzales Research & Media Services between December 14 and January 2. A total of 823 registered voters in Maryland were queried by live telephone interviews. Trump, who will be officially sworn in as the nation’s 45th President this Friday, has started off on poor footing with Maryland, earning himself a 30 percent “favorable” rating and a 56 percent “unfavorable” rating.  Patrick Gonzales said given that Maryland is a strongly democratic state and voters overwhelmingly went for Hillary Clinton in the November election, the numbers do not come as a surprise…
