A month long crack cocaine investigation conducted by C3IN ended Tuesday night with an arrest of a Brooklyn, New York resident. Timmie Cotton, 33 years of age, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute crack, possession with intent to distribute MDMA-Ecstasy, possession of crack, possession of MDMA-Ecstasy, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and handgun in a vehicle. Cotton was operating a 2004 Dodge Durango when a traffic stop was initiated in the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Cumberland, Maryland. A search of the vehicle revealed an electronic hidden compartment under the front passenger seat. The compartment contained a substantial amount of crack cocaine and Ecstasy, two handguns, and drug paraphernalia. The street value of the seized drugs is estimated at over $31,000.
