The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency announced December revenue numbers from the state’s casinos last week, and while the overall numbers showed a slight decline from November- there appears to be no great concern at this point. The Rocky Gap casino revenue was $2,626,560 from both slot machines and table games for the month. The gross revenue per unit per day was: $126.15 for slot machines, $1,333.80 for banking (non-poker) table games and $333.15 for poker. Rocky Gap Casino Resort operates 558 slot machines and 13 table games. Senate President Mike Miller says that numbers are expected to drop somewhat during holiday periods; he has no doubts about the success of the gaming operations.
