A crash involving and overturned tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle closed both lanes of I-70 eastbound at MD 68 in Clear Spring in western Washington County for about two hours on Friday morning
The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of I-70 after the St Paul Road underpass, west of Hagerstown.
Both vehicles ended up in the median strip.
There are significant delays on eastbound I-70.
All westbound lanes are open.
Eastbound I-70 drivers could use US 40 or MD 68 to avoid delays
Charlie Gischlar of the Maryland State Highway administration reports that while there were injuries, no one was seriously hurt in the crash that happened just after 9 a.m. on Friday.
The tractor trailer is carrying food products.
