PA Lawmakers Vote Down Brown to Run State Police

On a party line vote, Pennsylvania lawmakers voted down the nomination of former Maryland State Police head Marcus Brown to lead the Pennsylvania State Police. Senate Democratic Leader Jay Costa said it is a sad day in the Keystone State…





Brown will continue to run the agency as acting commissioner, much to the chagrin of the troopers, who opposed his nomination.
