Parish Hall To Be Open To Voters Despite Road Work

With the closing of portions of Greene and Baltimore streets today to accommodate a valve replacement project at the intersection of Washington and Greene streets, the city of Cumberland and Allegany County Board of Elections has announced that the polling location for District 6, Precinct 1 at the Emmanuel Episcopal Parish Hall on Washington Street will be open and accessible for voters. The primary election is today with voting hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Allegany County Elections Administrator  Diane Loibel tells WCBC News that the project will require street closings in the area of parish hall where voting takes place…
