On Saturday, a criminal summons was served on David Leo Cassady, 47, of Cumberland.
The summons was in reference to an incident which occurred on April 11th, 2019, in the area of Baltimore St and Park St.
In this incident, the victim alleged they were traveling in their vehicle on Park St when the vehicle in front of them stopped in the street. A male pedestrian was then said to have began speaking with the driver of the stopped vehicle. Another motorist in the area then sounded its horn. The male then approached the victim’s vehicle and began screaming obscenities as they leaned into the open window of the victim’s vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, Cassady was able to be identified as the suspect. Cassady was charged with Disorderly Conduct and 2nd Degree Assault. Cassady was served the summons and released, pending trial in District Court.
