A partial lineup for DelFest 2012 at the Allegany County Fairgrounds has been announced and once again the event will feature some of the top acts in the bluegrass field. DelFest, the annual music festival headed by bluegrass legend Del McCoury, began in 2008 after McCoury visited Cumberland and immediately decided the local fairgrounds were the idea setting for his planned event. The lineup this Memorial Day weekend will include: The Del McCoury Band; Steve Martin and The Steep Canyon Rangers; Yonder Mountain String Band; Sam Bush Band; The Travelin’ McCourys (featuring Keller Williams); Preservation Hall Jazz Band; Keller Williams ; Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver; The Infamous Stringdusters; Emmitt-Nershi Band and many more to be announced in the near future.
