Pence to address RNC from Fort McHenry

August 21st, 2020 by WCBC Radio

Vice President Mike Pence will address next week's Republican National Convention from Fort McHenry in Baltimore.

Production and transmission equipment arrived in Baltimore on Friday but was not immediately allowed into the site, which is managed by the National Park Service.  Fort McHenry's visitor center has been closed since the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, though the grounds and parking lot have remained open for visitors.

President Donald Trump made disparaging remarks about Baltimore last summer, describing the city as “disgusting,” “corrupt” and “a rodent infested mess.”

Pence is such a cheeseball all the Baltimore rodents may decide to go to the Fort for dinner that night.

Maybe the British will bombard the Fort during his speech?

        > Considering the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are looking for something to occupy themselves, maybe they could “get the and back together.”
