Pennsylvania legislators this week finally approved a revenue package that increases state revenues by $1.3 billion by, in part, raising taxes on cigarettes by $1 per pack.
Governor Tom Wolf had sought a $2.7 million tax increase, but is satisfied that progress is being made in getting the fiscal house in order…
