According to WBAL News, the Pentagon has sent a letter to Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley which addresses the impact of automatic federal budget cuts. The letter, which was sent Friday, shows the Army would lose $95 million in operations across Maryland with a $359 million payroll reduction for civilian employees. The letter also reveals that the Air Force would lose at least $10 million to its operations, including reductions in facilities projects at Andrews Air Force Base.
