People Urged to Be Safe in Heat

Maryland health officials are stressing residents stay hydrated with high temperatures on the way. Nutritionists recommend 8 glasses of water per day, with fruits and vegetables mixed in. In addition, staying cool indoors is essential during the summer. Each year, several Marylanders die due to inadequate condition in the heat.
