Allegany College of Maryland on Friday announced a number of key additions to it’s athletics department. Tommie Reams, Athletic Director, at a morning press conference introduced Michael Carter and J.R. Perdew. Carter will serve as a full-time assistant athletic director of development and success- and just the third baseball coach in the college’s 58 year history. He served under Hall of Fame baseball coach Steve Bazarnic from 2001 to 2006. Perdew will work in a part-time capacity as an assistant director of recruitment, fundraising and community relations. Since 2016, Perdew has served as an assistant pitching coordinator for the Chicago White Sox
