Perlozzo Shows No Sympathy for Banned Baseball Players

Cumberland native Sam Perlozzo, a former major league baseball player coach and manager, says he has no sympathy for those players suspended this week for the use of performance enhancing drugs. Perlozzo, who played briefly in the major leagues for the Twins and the Padres before moving into a 26 year coaching and managing  career  discussed the subject Thursday morning on WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show” .  He said he believes players such as former MVP Ryan Braun who has been suspended, should be stripped of the award. He thinks the vast majority of the players as well as the fans have no use for those players found to have been cheating….
