On two separate occasions this month the Cumberland Police Department investigated complaints regarding a W/F standing in the roadway asking for help from motorists. Once the assistance was render by the motorists and the female entered into the vehicles, she ultimately robbed the motorists.
A suspect has been identified and the investigations into both incidents are currently ongoing. The Cumberland Police Department is asking motorists, if they are contacted by a W/F, approximately 5’05”- 5’08” in height, medium build & shoulder length brown hair requesting a ride or help. They should immediately contact the police department with the location of female and allow the responding officers to help the female.
The police department also requests that motorists do not allow the female to enter into their vehicle.
