On Saturday June 17, 2017, at 2:12 am, Cumberland City Police officers responded to the 600 block of Elm Street for a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers could hear the suspects sawing inside the uninhabited residence. Michael Shipley, age 30 and Mitchell Reid, age 35 were located inside cutting the copper wiring. Both individuals were placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland City Police department for processing. They are currently awaiting a bond hearing.

CHARGES: Burglary 1st & 3rd Degree, Trespassing, Destruction of Property.
Mitchell Reid, age 35. Cumberland, Maryland.
