Police execute search and seizure warrants after complaints of suspicious drug activity

On 12/31/19 Officers with the Cumberland Police Department executed three search and seizure warrants within the City Limits of Cumberland. The warrants resulted after an investigation into the sales and distribution of illegal narcotics by the patrol division after receiving citizen complaints of suspicious drug activity. The warrants were executed in the 200blk of Arch St, 500blk of Beall St, and the first block of East Second St. The investigations are continuing at this time and several arrests and charges are pending. The Cumberland Police Department was assisted by the Washington County Sheriff's Office/Hagerstown PD Tactical Team, the Cumberland Police Emergency Response Team (CERT), Garrett County Sheriff's Office Tactical Team, C3I Investigations, Allegany County Narcotics Task Force, Allegany County Sheriff's Office, and the Maryland State Police.     This is what should be done arrest them try them if they are guilty give them the maximum sentence when they get out if they are not from this area send them back wherever the hell they came from
