State police took a gunman into custody Friday night after he was barricaded inside his Bedford County home since 9:30 Friday morning. It happened on Cooks Mill Road in Londonderry Township. Authorities surrounded the house and contacted the man inside over the phone, telling him to surrender, but then heard a shot. After chemical agents couldn't get him out, tactical vehicles were used and a team got in the house and arrested the man. He was taken to a hosptial. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the situation. The man's name isn't yet being released but he is facing charges.
