On Tuesday October 3, 2017 Officers with the Cumberland Police Dept responded to a business located in the 200 Blk of North Mechanic St for a report of a breaking and Entering that occurred overnight. Upon arrival it was discovered that the culprit entered the business by forcing a side door to the building open. The suspect then made entry into the business where several items of value were removed. The suspect then left the store.
Also on Tuesday October 3rd, 2017 The Cumberland Police Dept responded to a second business located on Bennett Lane in reference to a Breaking and Entering that also occurred overnight. At this location the door was also forced open and entry made. Once inside the culprit removed several items of value and left the building.
