On Tuesday January 27, 2015, Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Andrew Miller, age 28 of Cumberland, Maryland. On January 25, 2015, Cumberland City Police Officers responded to a business on Park Street for a reported theft. Investigation revealed that Miller was observed by store personnel taking a quantity of items from the shelves and exiting the business without paying for them. Miller was served and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.

THEFT
On Tuesday January 27, 2015, at 7:58 pm, Cumberland City Police Officers responded to a business on Park Street for a reported Theft. Investigation into this matter revealed that Melvin Mumma, age 67 of Cumberland, was observed taking store owned items and concealing them in his belongings. Mumma was placed in custody and was transported to the Cumberland City Police Department where he was processed and served. Mumma was criminally cited and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.
