Police respond to disturbance

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

On Wednesday March 4, 2015, at 11:51 am, Cumberland City Police Officers responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.  Investigation into this matter revealed that Neil Griffith, age 43 of Cumberland, was acting in a disorderly manner in the presence of nearby residents.  Griffith was further observed throwing garbage out into the public street.  Griffith was arrested and transported to the Cumberland City Police Department where he was processed and served.  Griffith was criminally cited and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.

CHARGE:  Disorderly Conduct.

 

WARRANT SERVICE

On Wednesday March 4, 2015, Cumberland City Police served two Allegany County Circuit Court Bench warrants on Jason McCray, age 32 of Baltimore, Maryland.  The warrants were issued for failure to appear for trial on August 6, 2013 and for violation of probation.  McCray was taken directly to the Allegany County Detention Center where he was held without bond.
