WARRANT SERVICE

On Tuesday March 24, 2015, Cumberland City Police served a bench warrant on Trevor Laber, age 22 of Cumberland.  The warrant was issued as a result of Laber failing to follow the conditions of probation as a result of a previous arrest for 2nd Degree Assault.  Laber was processed, served and taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office for a bond hearing.  He was held on a $7,500.00 bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.

 

SUMMONS SERVICE

On Tuesday March 24, 2015, Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons Lacey Williams, age 29 of Cumberland.  On March 8, 2015, Cumberland City Police Officers responded to a private residence in the 100 block of Maryland Avenue for a reported Assault.  Investigation into this matter revealed that Williams struck the victim in the face with a household object and left the area.  Williams was served and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.  The victim did not require medical attention.

CHARGE:  Assault 2nd Degree.

 

SUMMONS SERVICE

On Tuesday March 24, 2015, Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Alicia Green, age 31 of Cumberland.  On March 8, 2015, Cumberland City Police Officers responded to Arch Street for a Hit and Run complaint.  Officers contacted an independent witness to the incident who advised that he observed Green operating her motor vehicle when she struck a parked vehicle on Arch Street.  After striking the unoccupied vehicle, Green fled the area.  Green was served and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.

CHARGES:  Vehicle driver in accident to report vehicle damage to Police, Vehicle driver fail to stop after unattended property damage accident, Vehicle driver fail to locate and notify owner of unattended vehicle damage, Vehicle driver fail to furnish written identification on unattended damaged vehicle.
