On Monday May 19, 2014, Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Malcolm Parsons, age 21 of Fort Ashby, West Virginia.  The charges were filed as a result of a February 15, 2014 theft investigation handled by Cumberland City Police at a business on Virginia Avenue.  Investigation revealed that Parsons was observed by video surveillance cameras taking store owned items and leaving the business without paying for them.  Parsons was served and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.

CHARGE:  Theft Less than $100.00 dollars.

THEFT

On Monday May 19, 2014, Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Jose Gomes Jr., age 26 of Cumberland, Maryland.  The charges were filed as a result of a May 13, 2014 theft investigation handled by Cumberland City Police at a business on Park Street.  Investigation revealed that Gomes was observed by store personnel taking stored owned items and leaving the business without paying for them.   Gomes was served and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.

CHARGE:  Theft Less than $100.00 dollars.

THEFT

On Monday May 19, 2014, Cumberland City Police at 8:41 pm, Cumberland City Police Officers responded to a business on Baltimore Street for a reported theft.  Upon arrival officers learned that Paul Harman, age 32 of Cumberland entered the business and obtained food.  After services were provided, Harman left the business without paying.  He was located and placed in custody and transported to the Cumberland City Police Department for processing.  He was criminally cited and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.
