Police make burglary, disturbing the peace arrests

Disturbing the Peace / Indecent Exposure

On Tuesday, June 02, 2015 at approximately 1:20 p.m., the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence located in the 200 block of Davidson Street in reference to a female subject creating a disturbance.  Upon the officers arrival contact was made with the complainant who stated that a female subject later identified as Brittany Ann Henry was sitting on his porch.  The complainant stated that he does not know this female and he asked her to leave.  The complainant stated that Henry’s was so intoxicated that her pants keep falling down exposing her lower portion of her body.  The area where Henry was positioned blocked the complainant from being able to leave his residence.  The complainant asked Henry several times to leave the area and she refused.  Henry was placed under arrest and transported to Police Headquarters for processing.  Henry was taken to District Court for her initial appearance and she was released on her personal recognizance.

Arrested:

Brittany Ann Henry – age 29 – Cumberland, MD

Charges:

Indecent exposure and disturbing the peace hindering free passage.
 

 

Attempted Breaking and Entering

On Tuesday, June 02, 2015 at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence located in the 200 block of Fayette Street in reference to an attempted breaking and entering complaint.  Upon the officers arrival contact was made with the complainant / victim who stated that a male subject arrived at his residence.  The complainant stated that he briefly spoke with the subject who was identified as Anthony Orlando Taylor on the front porch.  Taylor began to act in an aggressive manner and continued to close in on the complaint after being told several times to calm down and back away.  The complainant entered his residence, locked the door behind him and called the police.  As he was making the phone call he could hear the storm door being pulled on by Taylor as he was trying to enter the residence.  Taylor was placed under arrest and transported to Police Headquarters for processing.  Taylor was transported to District Court for his initial appearance.  Taylor was held at the Allegany County Detention Center awaiting his attorney to be present to complete the initial appearance.

Anthony Orlando Taylor – age 53 – Cumberland, MD

Charges:

Attempted fourth degree burglary, second degree assault, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
