Theft
On Tuesday June 3, 2014 at 2:42 am, Cumberland City Police Officers responded to a business on Park Street in reference to a theft. Investigation into this matter revealed that Sue Lilly, age 45 of Park Street, Cumberland allegedly stole miscellaneous store owned items. The officer made contact with Lilly and the stolen items were returned. Lilly was criminally cited and released pending trail at the Allegany County District Court.

Breaking & Entering
On Tuesday June 3, 2014 at 7:43 a.m. Cumberland City Police Officers responded to the 1600 block of Ford Avenue in reference to a breaking and entering complaint. Upon the officers arrival contact was made with an employee of the business who stated that someone had forced entry into the business and stole cash money and various hand and power tools.
