SUMMONS SERVICE
On Thursday July 24, 2014, Cumberland City Police served a Criminal Summons on Trevor Scott, age 35 of Cumberland. Application was applied for by a private citizen who alleged that July 14, 2014, Scott went to her place of work and proceeded to cause a disturbance by yelling and acting in a disruptive manner. Scott was served and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.

CDS ARREST
On Thursday July 24, 2014, at 11:04 pm, Cumberland City Police Officers responded to the 300 block of Arch Street in reference a vehicle and its occupants being involved in suspected drug activity. Upon arrival to the area officers observed a vehicle parked partially on the roadway. It was learned that the driver had fled. A K9 Officer responded to and conducted a free air sniff of the vehicle and a positive alert was indicated by K9 “TIMO”. A search of the vehicle was conducted and found in the passenger seat was a smoking device containing suspected crack cocaine. The passenger of the vehicle was identified as Charles Wicker, age 45 of Cumberland. Wicker was placed in custody and transported to the Cumberland City Police Department where he was processed and criminally cited and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.
