Police Log – 07/30/14

On July 30, 2014 at approximately 8:10 p.m., the Cumberland Police Department responded to Martin's Market located on Park Street in reference to a shoplifting complaint.  Upon the officers arrival contact was made with a store representative who stated that a female later identified as Kisha Johnette O'Haver stole diapers from the store.  Units checked the area for O'Haver but were not able to locate her.  O'Haver later responded to Police Headquarters and admitted to being at Martin's Market.  O'Haver was then issued a criminal citation charging her with theft and released from Police Headquarters pending her trial date at District Court.

Arrested:  Kisha Johnette O'Haver – age 40 – Cumberland, MD

 

On July 30, 2014 at approximately 8:30 p.m., the Cumberland Police Department responded to the Dollar General on Industrial Boulevard in reference to a shoplifting complaint.  Upon the officers arrival to the business a store representative advised the officer that a patron observed two females stealing items while inside the store.  The witness was able to identify one of the females and provided a description of the vehicle that the females left the area in.  Another officer on patrol located the vehicle with the two suspects, Tiffany Nicole Gutillo, and Brianna Lynn Goetz.  Both stated that they were just at Dollar General and they admitted to stealing the items.  The items were recovered and returned to the store.  Gutillo and Goetz were both issued criminal citations; both were charged with one count of theft.  Gutillo and Goetz were then released pending trial at District court at a later date.

Arrested:  Tiffany Nicole Nicole – age 27 – Cumberland, MD

Arrested:  Brianna Lynn Goetz – age 20 – Cumberland, MD

 

On July 30, 2014 at approximately 2:00 a.m., the Cumberland Police Department arrested Elizabeth Mae Price on a bench warrant.  Officers were conducting a foot patrol of Jane Frazier Village when Price was contacted and arrested on the warrant.  The warrant charges Price with failing to follow the conditions of her probation.  Price was served with the warrant and then taken to District Court for her initial appearance and then was held on $500.00 at the Allegany County Detention Center.

Arrested:  Elizabeth Mae Price – age 31 – Cumberland, MD

 

On July 29, 2014 the Cumberland Police Department arrested Taryn Denise Hartley, age 30, Cumberland, MD on a bench warrant.  The warrant stems from Hartley failing to follow the conditions of her probation.  Hartley was served with the warrant and then taken to District Court for her initial appearance and was held at the Allegany County Detention Center on $57.50 bond.
