On Wednesday, August 13th, 2014, Cumberland City Police served criminal summons on Timothy Rayne Bohn for child abuse 2nd degree, disturbing the peace, and assault 2nd degree, which was the result of an incident investigated by the Cumberland City Police on August 3rd, 2014 on Arch Street. The police investigation concluded that the mother of the child had an argument with Bohn and Bohn allegedly became upset and aggressively handled the child while attempting to place the child in a car seat. At the time of the incident, Bohn was not arrested but taken to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center for an evaluation by officers. Charges were filed with the District Commissioner’s Office and Bohn was served his charges and released pending trial at the District Court of Allegany County.
