On Monday January 6, 2014 the Cumberland City Police Department served a Criminal Summons on Rachael Erin Twigg.  The Summons was issued as a result of Breaking and Entering Investigation handled by the Cumberland City Police Department and then forwarded to the C3I Unit for investigation in June 2013.  Investigation into this matter revealed that Rachael Twigg was involved with this incident in receiving the stolen property.

Charges: Theft less than $1000, Theft less than $100, Accessory After the fact

 

Sunday, January 6, 2014 @ 2:51 PM                                                            CDS Arrest

 

While on patrol on Industrial Blvd. an officer observed a vehicle make an illegal left turn

onto Lamont St.  The vehicle was stopped and the operator was contacted.  He was asked for his license and registration at which time he advised the officer that he didn’t have it with him.  He then proceeded to give the officer what he said was his name.  At this time the officer requested a K-9 to assist with a free air scan of the vehicle.  The K-9 gave a positive alert for the presence of narcotics.  The operator was again contacted and asked to step from his vehicle.  The operator was searched and a baggie of marijuana was located in his pocket.  At this time the operator admitted to the officer that he gave a false name to him and his real name is Tyrone Leonard Miner Jr.  Miner’s identification was located in another pocket.  A check of his Wanted status revealed that he was currently Wanted out of Washington County.  It was also learned that Miner’s privilege to drive in the state of Maryland was currently suspended.  Miner was placed under arrest and transported to PH where he was charged and processed.

Charges: Giving false fictitious name, Driving while suspended, Possession of CDS

Miner was taken to the ACDC where he was held on a detainer for the Warrant out of Washington County.
