October 14th, 2015 by WCBC Radio

Disorderly Arrest

Officers responded to the area of Pennsylvania Ave. for a reported disturbance.  Upon their arrival to the area they met with witnesses who pointed out a subject later identified as Kevin Ray Bowers.  They advised that Bowers was the one causing the disturbance by driving a minivan up and down the street in a reckless and negligent manner spinning its wheels.  They further advised that he was traveling at a high rate of speed and almost struck a vehicle.  After he almost struck the vehicle the victim yelled at him to stop driving in that manner.  Bowers then got out of his vehicle to confront the operator who was in his 80’s.  At this time the witness stepped in to make sure the elderly gentleman didn’t get hurt.  Bowers then retrieved a small bat like object from his car and began to yell at all involved.  He then got back into his vehicle and drove away.  Bowers arrived back on scene as the officers were still there.  He at first denied being involved but later admitted he was.  He was placed under arrest and transported to PH where he was charged and released.

Kevin Ray Bowers                          Age: 43                 Winchester Rd., Cumberland, MD.

Charge: Disorderly Conduct

Bowers was issued a Criminal Citation for the offense and released pending trial in District Court.
