SUMMONS SERVICE
On Monday November 30, 2015, Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Timothy Ryan, age 29 of Cumberland, Maryland. The summons was issued by a private citizen who alleged that on November 19, 2015, Ryan allegedly stole some personal items belonging to the victim at a business on Queen City Drive. Ryan was served and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.

SUMMONS SERVICE
On Monday November 30, 2015, Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Kathleen Sugden, age 24 of Cumberland, Maryland. On November 25, 2015, Cumberland City Police Officers responded to the 200 block of Columbia Avenue for a reported theft of electrical services. Investigation into this matter revealed that the report was unfounded and that Sugden intentionally fabricated the complaint causing an unwarranted investigation. Sugden was served and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.

CHARGE: False Statement to Police Officer.
WARRANT SERVICE
On Monday November 30, 2015, Cumberland City Police served a bench warrant on Ronnell Evans, age 22 of Cumberland, Maryland. The warrant was issued as a result of Evans failing to appear for court on July 21, 2015 for a previous Theft arrest. Evans was processed, served and taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office for a bond hearing. He was released on his own recognizance pending trial.
