CDS / Warrant Arrest
On Friday, February 14, 2014 at approximately 3:30 p.m., the Cumberland Police Department arrested Bernard Albert Barnes. Barnes was contacted by the Cumberland Police Department on Harrison Street. A wanted check on Barnes was conducted which revealed that he had a parole retake warrant for Barnes violating the conditions of his probation.
Barnes was placed under arrest and during a search of Barnes person a baggie of Marijuana was located in his pocket. Barnes was transported to Police Headquarters for processing. Barnes was then issued a criminal citation for possession of Marijuana and then taken directly to the Western Maryland Correctional Institution and released to their custody on the parole retake warrant.

Charges:
Possession of Marijuana and parole retake warrant for violation conditions of probation.
