THEFT
On Thursday December 13, 2012, Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Aaron Soules, age 23 of Cumberland. The charges stem from a Theft investigation that occurred on October 23, 2012 at a business on Queen City Drive. Investigation into this incident revealed that Soules entered a business and made an order. Store employees reported that while their attention was away from Soules, he allegedly took the tip jar from the counter and fled the premises. Soules was identified by security cameras of the business. Soules was served and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.

On 11/18/12 at 5:55pm the Cumberland Police Dept was contacted by a subject who stated that sometime after 0930hrs this date, a black in color briefcase containing several electronic devices was removed from his vehicle which was parked in a business on S George St. There are no suspects in this matter. Anyone who may have information or may have witnessed the theft is asked to contact the Cumberland Police Dept at 301-777-1600.
November 18th 2012 Criminal Summons Served
On 11/18/12 The Cumberland Police Dept served a criminal summons on Regina Moreland, 40yoa of Cumberland. The summons stems from a private citizen alleging that Moreland was harassing him over a period of time after being told not to contact them. Moreland was served with the summons which charged her with one count of Harassment and released pending trial in District Court.
