On March 2, 2014 Cumberland City Police officers served criminal summonses on two Cumberland residents after charges were filed by police. The charges stem from numerous investigations conducted by the Cumberland Police Department between the dates of November 9, 2013 and February 10, 2014.
Court charging documents allege that Brenda Sue Thomas, 41 and Joshua Michael Darby, 28 both of Cumberland, caused several separate disturbances on 02/10/2014, and nearly a dozen additional disturbances between the dates of 11/9/2013 and 2/10/2014 at a Grand Avenue residence.
Disturbing the Peace – Loud Noise: 1 count each
Disorderly House – 1 count each
Both Thomas and Darby were served with the charges and are awaiting trial at the Allegany County District Court.
