On Friday, 3/25/16, at 3:33 am Cumberland Police Officers responded to the Pit n’ Go on Frederick Street in Cumberland for a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, officers made contact with an employee who reported that an African American male walked into the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money. As a result, the suspect stole an amount of cash and fled the scene. CPD officers along with a K-9 Officer checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect at this time. C3I investigator was contacted and is assisting in the investigation. Attached is a photo of the suspect.
