Police Make Arrest After Burglary

On Thursday at approximately 2:45 AM the Cumberland City Police Department were dispatched to the 300 block of Greene Street for a breaking and entering which just occurred. Upon arrival officers spoke to the victim and learned that they came home and observed Rachael Dolly leaving out the rear door. The victim then showed officers that Ms. Dolly had dumped bleach on his property damaging it. It was also learned that Ms. Dolly stole a backpack that belonged to the victim during the incident.  The victim had not given permission for Ms. Dolly to be in the residence. Ms. Dolly was unable to be located at that time and charges were applied for through District Court. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Ms. Dolly. Later in the day Ms. Dolly was located and arrested without issue. Ms. Dolly was taken before a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

 

Arrested – Rachael Nicole Dolly (31) Cumberland, MD

Charges – Burglary 3rd Degree, Burglary 4th Degree, Malicious Destruction of Property, and Theft less than $100.00

    She has regularly been a subject of these articles for at least a dozen years including a few times during this recent lockdown. It is about time they got her to stay put.

      Ever notice that more often than not the subjects of these police reports seem to be familiar with each other. It often seems to be a group that runs together.
