Police Make Destruction Of Property & Disorderly Conduct Arrests

On July 10th 2017 at approximately 2:30 PM, officers from the Cumberland City Police Department were dispatched to the 200 block of West Oldtown Rd for a destruction of property complaint. Contact was made with the victim and it was learned that a male relative had entered onto his property and damaged a window. The property was also posted with no trespassing signs. The suspect was identified by officers as Patrick Lee Thompson. Thompson was placed under arrest without incident. Thompson was transported to the Cumberland City Police Station where he was issued two criminal citations. Thompson was released pending trial in District Court

Malicious Destruction of Property and Trespassing

 

Adult Arrest

On July 10th 2017 at approximately 8:00 PM, officers from the Cumberland City Police Department were dispatched to the 300 block of Frederick St for a disturbance. Upon arrival officers observed Desire Lynne Smith yelling at a neighbor. Officers advised Smith to cease her actions or she would be subject to arrest. Smith continued to yell at neighbors and was placed under arrest without incident. Smith was transported to the Cumberland City Police Station where she was issued a criminal citation for disorderly conduct
