Police make theft, disturbance arrests

On Friday,  the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Queen City Drive business for a female who left the store with merchandise that she did not pay for.  Officers located the female in question who was identified as Lisa Ann Hass and recovered the stolen merchandise.  She was issued a criminal citation for theft and released pending trial.

Disturbance Arrest

 

Also Friday a Cumberland Police Officer was conducting an investigation in the area of Baltimore Street when he observed an individual later identified as JeremyWillam Lynch creating a noise disturbance.  He was advised by the officer several times to stop causing the disturbance which was distractive to others in the area.  Lynch refused and continued.  He was issued a criminal citation for failure to obey a lawful order and released pending trial.
