Police Searching For Drug Dealer Who Failed To Report For Trial

October 8th, 2018 by WCBC Radio

The Allegany County Narcotics Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in locating John Roland Dillsworth, of Cumberland, Maryland and Capon Bridge, West Virginia. In August of 2018, Dillsworth failed to appear for trial in Allegany County Circuit Court, in reference to an ACNTF investigation into the distribution of cocaine, opioid prescription pills, and marijuana in the Allegany County area.

Dillsworth also failed to appear in Allegany County Circuit Court, in reference to a 2017 motor vehicle collision in which a victim sustained life threatening injuries as a result of the crash. Dillsworth is charged in reference to that incident with numerous traffic and criminal offenses, including Driving Under the Influence, Assault, and Reckless Driving.

The Allegany County Narcotics Task Force is also seeking the public’s assistance in locating Jamaine Keith Johnson, AKA “Boo Boo”, of Cumberland, Maryland. In February of 2018, Johnson was indicted by an Allegany County Grand Jury in reference to an ACNTF investigation into the distribution of heroin, and is wanted for those offenses.

The Allegany County Narcotics Task Force is a cooperative effort between the Maryland State Police, Allegany County Sheriff’s Office, the Cumberland Police Department, and the Allegany County States Attorney’s Office.  You can report suspected drug activity by leaving an anonymous tip at 301-759-4660, or by visiting the Crime Solvers website, www.allegany-mineralcrimesolvers.com.

This is a surprise?? They put these people back on the street, and wonder why they don’t appear for trial (not trail), and they have an out-of-state address!

Why was Dillsworth even on the streets?

After almost killing someone with a car and then not appearing for THAT trial, I would think you’d learn a lesson about not letting him out and about to await another trail.
