Police Seeking Info on Hit and Run

The Maryland State Police are investigating a hit and run accident that occurred on October 4, 2013 at approximately 0129 hours on southbound Interstate 81 prior to Halfway Boulevard.

At that time, a gray Toyota Camry being driven by David Wayne Robinson of Hagerstown, Maryland was traveling south on Interstate 81. A white Saturn Vue with unknown Pennsylvania registration struck the rear of Robinson’s vehicle and caused Robinson’s vehicle to travel off the roadway and overturn.

Following the collision, the white Saturn Vue fled the scene without stopping. Robinson and his passenger, Helen Christina Robinson, were transported to Meritus Medical Center by ambulance.

Maryland State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a white Saturn Vue, possibly with Pennsylvania registration plates.  The Saturn Vue should have damage to the front passenger side area of the vehicle and also a broken headlight.
