On Thursday, March 5th, 2020 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Tahara Stephanie Andrea Smith for disturbing the peace and failure to comply with a peace order. The warrant was issued by District Court in reference to an incident that occurred back on February 22nd, 2020 when Smith was alleged have shown up at residence on Lamont Street and caused a disturbance after having been served a peace order forbidding her from being at that residence. She was taken before the District Court Commissioner and was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.
