Police Serve Multiple Arrest Warrants

On Wednesday the Cumberland Police Department served several arrest warrants:

 

Nicole Marie Busch was served two Circuit Court warrants for violation of probation.  The warrants were issued when Busch failed to follow the conditions of her probation on an assault and theft conviction.  She was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.

Corey Christopher Simpson was served a Circuit Court warrant for violation of pre sentence release.  He was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.

David Joseph Snyder was served a District Court warrant for obstructing and resisting arrest.  On September 2nd, 2018 a Cumberland Police Officer on patrol attempted to stop a vehicle in the Oldtown Road and Arch Street area.  As the officer initiated the stop, a passenger fled from the vehicle on foot. The officer gave chase, eventually apprehending the male who was identified as David Joseph Snyder.  It was later learned that Snyder fled from the officer because of an outstanding arrest warrant for violation of probation. He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held on a $2,500 bond.

Randi Lee Ackerson was served a District Court warrant for violation of probation.  She was placed on probation back on September 12th, 2017 for theft charges.  She was taken before the District Court Commissioner and was released on her own personal recognizance pending trial.
