On Friday, August 31, 2012 at approximately 8:40 p.m., the Cumberland City Police Department responded to the area of Cecelia Street in reference to a disturbance between a male and female taking place on the street. As officers arrived and attempted to identify the male subject he took off running toward Williams Street. The officer ordered the subject to stop several times before utilizing a Taser to stop the subject and place him under arrest. Keith August Palmisano Jr was currently wanted on a bench warrant through the Circuit Court of Allegany County for violating his probation.
Palmisano was additionally charged with resisting a lawful arrest and obstructing and hindering a law enforcement officer. Palmisano was taken to District Court and held on $3,000.00 at the Allegany County Detention Center.
