Polk Street Disturbance Ends In Arrest

On Saturday, at about 6:15 PM, officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Polk Street residence in reference to a disturbance. 

While police were conducting the investigation, one of the involved parties, Richard Oliver, began yelling at the other subjects involved.  Oliver was warned that he would be arrested if he did not stop yelling.  Oliver continued his actions which drew the attention of several neighbors.  He was then placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters. 

Oliver was issued two criminal citations and released pending trial at District Court.

CHARGES:  Disorderly Conduct, Fail to Obey a Reasonable & Lawful Order
