Poll Finds Marylanders Agree with COVID Restrictions

May 27th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

A new poll released this week finds that most Marylanders feel the state and local restrictions put in place to control the spread of the coronavirus "have been about right."  The Gonzales Poll finds 63% feel the restrictions "have been about right" while 22% say the restrictions "have gone too far" and 15 % say the restrictions "haven't gone far enough."  WBAL reports that Pollster Patrick Gonzales  said that poll found 64% thought stay-at-home orders that have been put in place have been "worth it" while 22% believed they have done "more harm than good." He says those numbers could begin to change if the state’s economy doesn’t soon show signs of turning around…
