Potomac Edison Under Fire for Billing

The Maryland Public Service Commission will hear a complaint that Potomac Edison is overbilling Western Maryland electricity customers. Complaints point to Potomac Edison officials failing to read meters as often as required. According to the Frederick News-Post, the board has scheduled a hearing for June 20th. The company has been accused of reading its members’ electric meters an average of four times in the past 13 months when the company is required to read the meters every other month.
