4 PM UPDATE: Crews have restored power to all but about 100 customers.
INITIAL REPORT: Potomac Edison crews are working to restore power to over 500 people in the LaVale area.
Allegany County Emergency Services Director Dick Devore says the outage is primarily in the area of upper LaVale.
The PE website says it hopes to have service restored by 5 PM.
